Amazing, simply amazing. In E.J. Dionne's article in today's Washington Post he writes "Without putting them under oath, there is no way to ensure they tell the truth". This about the firings of US attorneys. Now, tell me the people running this country have to be under oath to tell the truth. What ever happened to the great american democracy? George Washington?
This administration seems to have the corner on lying. Our "leaders" seem always to have a way to weasel out of the accusations of not telling the truth. Of course "bushites" will point to the Clinton affair. He, Clinton, is in the past. NOW is what we are talking about. Now tell me. Is there ONE person in the Bush administration who will tell the truth. Sounds like our religious right should take a lesson from the bible. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah?
