Once again. Control, control, control. Police state. Wake up America.

Some early Sunday morning thoughts.-------- One might contrast and compare George W with Hugo Chavez. Remember, both want to be king. Both vilify other countries. Both do not brook criticism of their policies. Where things change is that Chavez can rule forever if he wants by controlling his legislature. W cannot. WAIT a minute. Maybe he can. Who knows. We may have a coup by Cheney that would install W as pres for life.

I think Eugene Robinson has it right.

I always find it amazing that "our" people in Washington seem to have forgotten that they represent us. Starting with "our" President. This guy W thinks that he has the right solution to everything and no one is allowed a different opinion. Are we all dummies? Doesn't George understand that others may have valid ideas. Oh well. I guess the King is always right. NOT

I've been on a soapbox detailing America's fall into a "police state" for some time now. Do we, the people, realize what is happening? An article in the NY Times outlines just another example of the loss of our cherished freedoms. Everything that this administration does is predicated on the idea that the worst thing that can happen to the American people is "terrorism." Interesting how 9-11 killed 3000 people and now the "war against" terrorism has now killed more than that number. Hmmm. More and more our freedoms are being hijacked by king George and his cohorts under the spurious guise of anti terrorism. Wake up America.
