You may not agree with all that he says, but he does have many valid(in my estimation) points. We are a nation of warmongers. Read history. We seem to have been brought up to use violence to solve our problems. Where we go from here is not clear. I have no answers. Do you?

I've been ranting about America becoming a police state. Now, proof.
NYPD spying on American citizens. Yep. And now reports of what went on are being quashed. Hmmm. A free and open society. I'm beginning to doubt it. What with this NY thing and all the shenanigans going on in Washington. Will the truth ever come out and those officials who broke the law be held accountable? Hah. You are dreaming if that will ever happen. FBI breaks the law and no one(person) will ever be convicted and wind up in jail. Do dope and you wind up in jail. Break the law as a member of government and so what. A friend of mine who is a Republican without much in the way of rebuttal is fond of saying "they're all crooked, both Democrats and Republicans". Seems he's more right than many would admit. Plain speech (i.e. truth) is in short supply. When caught in LIES officials always have a way of weaseling out of them by saying "that I mispoke and that is not what I really meant or said. Come on Congress. NO MORE niceties. Aarrrgh.
