James Carroll has hit the nail on the head with today's article in the Boston Globe.
Seems to me, that if mainstream churches are to survive and become relevant, they must evolve. The retrenching of the Catholic Church is just alienating a large group of it's members. With Vatican II there was a ray of hope and joy that subsequent leaders have tried to roll back. The latest pope is now talking about some of the 50's "isms". Give me a break. Let the Church grow , not shrink into irrelevancy.

Haven't written in a while, but this just got to me.

This man George is scary. What ever happened to our constitution? This administration is using terrorism to enslave the American people. Fear is a powerful weapon when used as a method of control. The people that we want to control is you and me. Sounds like the Soviets of old and maybe new.
